This will be the Sirens’ second season as a member of the WPSL, which has a history in women’s soccer dating back 18 years.  The WPSL has provided a major development platform for future professional players.  The league has helped top players rise to the professional ranks.  Among the WPSL’s alumni are Women’s National Team stars Alex Morgan, Megan Rapinoe and recently retired Abby Wambach.

Sirens’ owner, John Vogt says, “I am looking forward to our second season in the WPSL. We will have a mixture of experienced players looking to forward their career in soccer, current college players looking to improve their game in the off season, and even a few high school players who will be entering college in the fall.  Our staff is top notch.  We will be heavily involved in the community as part of a non-profit organization, and the response from players, fans and sponsors has been fabulous.  Last year was beyond our expectations, both off the field and on the field with 3 of our players making the WPSL all star team.”
