The Cincinnati Sirens FC are not just a great soccer team. We pride ourselves in giving back to the communities in which we play. Recently, several members of the team traveled to Brazil to immerse themselves in the culture, enjoy international soccer experiences and donate soccer equipment to the youth there. Over 200 soccer balls, over 100 uniforms and other equipment were given out to those who were less fortunate during a very memorable trip for all.

“When we started this organization, it was to provide a higher level of women’s soccer in the area, help those in need in the community and develop young leaders through our players – using soccer as a platform to make a difference. On this trip to Brazil, we watched our players become leaders, give their hearts to those who don’t have as much and have a great time playing soccer. We watched this group of players give the shoes off their feet and shirts off their backs to players who didn’t have them. They left quite an impression on the people of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. We can’t say we have ever been more proud of a group of players and we are proud to know they are Cincinnati Sirens. We definitely plan on providing this kind of opportunity every year.” – Sirens staff
